5 Food Blogs You Should Subscribe To
I love discovering new recipes and new baking bloggers that are pure gold. Over the years, I’ve found there are some blogs that I kept coming back to time and time again. So I subscribed! No one wants to subscribe to a thousand different sites, so here are 5 food blogs you should subscribe to. They are worth your time, I promise!
Your Email Is Gold
As a baking blogger, let me let you in on a little secret. Your email is gold to us. We want your attention and your input. Being able to pop on into your inbox is amazing and I know I am always so thrilled to gain another dedicated subscriber.

But you know what, you don’t want to throw your email address around and end up with a clogged, bogged down inbox. If you love food, baking, and maybe even food photography, have I got some bloggers for you! Let me introduce you to the food blogs you should subscribe to. And I know, because I’m on their email list!
Pinch of Yum
This is actually one of the very first food blogs I ever subscribed to. Lindsay Ostrom has so many different amazing recipes that will get you through every meal and snack of the day. I know this, because every year she hosts a Sugar Free January event and I ate a POY recipe for every meal and snack. Yum!

I first fell in love with Pinch of Yum when I made this creamy lentil soup. This is, without a doubt, my husband’s favorite recipe and I’ve made it countless times. And guess what? When you subscribe, they’ll send you a free download of their top 25 recipes!
Foodtography School
Sarah is one of the most talented food photographers out there! Her instagram account is gold and #goals. I subscribed to this email list to get her expertise on improving my food photography. Her Foodtography School webinars are always full of useful nuggets of wisdom. She doesn’t host them all the time, but if you subscribe, you’ll be the first to know about it!

Now, if you aren’t into photographing food, but are into making and eating said food, I would check out her blog, Broma Bakery. I’m not a subscriber, but I know she is a talented baker and cook. Plus, you’re guaranteed to drool thanks to her bomb photography skills.
I Scream For Buttercream
Kara Jane of I Scream For Buttercream is full of cake know how! She creates delicious recipes and adorable cake decorating tutorials. I used her free mini course to practice the three different ruffles used on my Funfetti Cake.

When you subscribe to her blog, you’ll get access to her resource library and regular helpful emails. Her emails will have cake tips and updates on her latest recipes and tutorials. I enjoy her emails because they are full of information, but also full of personality.
Philosophy of Yum
Aurelia of Philosophy of Yum is a very talented business owner who teaches others how to run a profitable home bakery. When I launched my own home bakery, I used her home bakery business plan to structure my own. That’s just one of the tools in her resource library! As you can see (below), she’s got a ton of great baking resources for any home baker.
Now, you may not be interested in starting your own home bakery. That’s okay. She’s also got delicious looking recipes on her site. Or you can follow her on Instagram for amazing drool worthy photos.

Bakes & Blunders
Yep! I actually am on my own email list and had to include Bakes & Blunders on a list of food blogs you should subscribe to. Let’s be honest, if I didn’t think what I have to offer was worth your time, I wouldn’t be here chatting you up.
When you subscribe to Bakes & Blunders, you’ll get access to a jam packed resource library. You can read all about those tools here and here. But let’s talk about the actual emails. I’ll let you know every time there’s a new recipe or post. You’ll also be the first to know about new projects I’m working on. Even better, you can help shape the content that appears on Bakes & Blunders!
Bonus: Cupcake Jemma
Technically I do subscribe to Cupcake Jemma. Thing is, it’s just her YouTube channel. Not sure if that fits the bill of “food blogs you should subscribe to”, but here we are. Jemma is a baker in London and she regularly posts videos of recipes, cake decorating tutorials, and baking tips.
She’s got a great team in her bakery and onscreen. They all share a bit of the spotlight and take turns teaching us new and exciting techniques. I used her caramel cake recipe as the base of my Salted Caramel Cake. She posts a new video every Thursday and I look forward to them each week!
